Colour temperature ('K') vs brightness...

It is a common misconception that higher colour temperatures (K’s) produce brighter lights. This is not true. The colour temperature only determines the colour but not the brightness of the HID light. The Colour Temperature is simply a scale represented by the Kelvin Temperature Chart (hence the abbreviation “K” or “K’s”) as decpited above that measures the colour of the light output. Typically, the higher the colour temperature, the closer you get to achieving bluish to purplish light colours.

What Are SMD's

"SMD LED" is an abbreviation for Surface-Mount-Device Light-Emitting Diode. A SMD LED Module is a type of LED module that uses Surface-mount technology (SMT) to mount LED chips on printed circuit boards (PCB). It is a self-contained Surface-Mount LED device designed either to function on its own or to plug into a compatible unit.

Generally speaking, SMD 2835 design is newer and more advanced than 3014 than 3528. Because 2835 has more effective thermal dissipation system, specifically, a larger heat sink than 3014 on the back, and 3528 has no back heat sink at all, therefore 2835 is able to take higher current and generates more luminous flux
